OK I went, I saw, and I tried them on, verdict, no to all and my reasoning for this, I don't think they any better than my Gaerne G Reacts I already have, they have the pivoting thingy and they seem pretty good for protection, also I think I may have bought them a little more recently than I first thought, so for now I stick with what I have.

These are the currant 2018/19 G Reacts, absolutely identical to mine, even the colour

OK these Gaerne MX boots are really uncomfortable so I might re-think the ADV boots again, I've tried on the SIDI and Predator 2, but haven't tried the GS Pro yet and while I know they are made by Forma and are supposedly the same as the Predator 2 I would still like to try them on.

The SIDI were comfy more so than the Predator, so I'm going to have another look around.

I gave up on MX boots 20 years ago. No feel on the brake lever, walk like a robot and uncomfortable. Sure they offer superior protection but you have to be comfortable and have good control over your bike. MX boots are just for that, motocross, where you have them on for short periods for maximum protection and lever feel isn't as important. I'm sure Toby Price would disagree though . I think the Formas you had is about the best compromise and you just got unlucky.

Yeah you might be right, I'll try a few pairs on and see how I go.

Well I took the plunge and got me some of these, people mentioned they were hard to put on and at first they were, but I have put them on 3 times now and it gets easier each time, getting them off is a different story especially with my bum ankle.

Surprisingly hey pretty damn comfy considering they are supposed to be the same as the Forma Predators, I tried the Predators on and these GS Pros are much more comfy by a country mile.

Got some new road boots yesterday, I really like these, look great I love the old school look about them and they very comfy, the quality looks very good also.

I 've been wearing the ALDI boots on the H2, well when I say wearing I mean persevering with them, they are not a good boot and my old Rossi boots have finally died after about 43years.
