G'day to all at Offroad Explorer,

I'm new to the forum and live on the Central Coast NSW. I ride a DR650. I'm back in the saddle over the last 18 months after a number of years out of it (Amazing how perishable a skill it is riding, and how fast all the bad habits come back instead of the smart ones when you start up again). It is planned in the near future to take a long desired trek across country and the DR is just about ready for this; whether I am is a different story. I have been on some off road treks across the bottom end of Queensland, north NSW and local areas.

Anyway I have been cruising the site and read the posts with interests.

Yep! All the riding has been on the DR. It is the first machine I've ridden in years and the 1st Suzuki for me - all other bikes have been Yammies. Both makes have been excellent machines. It took me 8mths to clock7,000k's and the last 5 months I've managed another 8,000k's. Since it has been revamped by VSM at Inverell I can't seem to keep off it. It is a sweet ride for me and my style.
