I might try a set GPS's next. How grippy are they on tar. I need the things to stick in the corners more than on dirt as I'm a slow dirt rider.

If there the're anything like the Adventure, they should suit Andrew, apparently you can reverse them to make them more on or more off road orientated.
BLURB FROM THE MX STORE
Designed to get you anywhere on the globe and back home again. Long mileage, serious traction and smooth transition from pavement to gravel to dirt, the GPS does it all well.
Features:
Reversible to suit the rider’s needs – either 50/50 or Mostly Off Road.
In 50/50 direction the GPS is a well behaved street-able tire with smooth cornering transition from centre to cranked all the way over.
In Mostly Off Road direction the aggressive straight line hook up and cornering drive is engaged.
Technically 25% stronger than many other adventure tyres.
Deeper thread than most adventure tyres.
Unique compound for long mileage.
Dependable traction in a wide variety of conditions.

Re: Motoz Tractionator Adventure
After 3000 klm i have 9 to 10mm tread near the centre of the tyre , road traction at least in the dry is great ( as my bike is more a toy than a tool i avoid rain ) and i'm not into peg dragging either .
I would be lucky to have 100 klm of dirt so no firm opinion yet , i have the rear in 50 / 50 rotation , the centre block should give the tyre outstanding milage . I am very happy so far .

Re: Motoz Tractionator Adventure
I've done about 3000ks on the Adventures now and after my initial 1000ks they seem a bit different, the drop in I can live with that hasn't changed but I'm finding the bike moves around a bit too much for my liking and it seems to be mostly when in a straight line and the tram lining is very noticeable, it gives a little tail wag when you go from one surface to another and it seems to be worse on those very coarse bitumen roads, on the dirt they are great and in the twisties it's fine too, just riding on straight roads it's a bit un-nerving, I wonder if it's because on my latest ride I wasn't fully loaded up that it could be the reason.
I think it may be the front that is the culprit, I think I might have to see if another type of tyre helps I remember someone say that a good combination was the TKC80 front with the Motoz ADV rear, so I might give that a go, Ness has the TKCs on her GS, might do a swap test using her front TKC, if this thing had the conventional steering head bearings I'd give them a tighten but I'm not quite sure how to go about tightening up the front end of the GS.
That's the verdict so far, there's no signs of wear at all front or rear which is good, anyway I'll see how my testing goes and come back with the findings.
