How much is too much?

Im sure a bit is normal.
Every twin Ive ever had use to blow some oil into the airbox.

Of the things I can easily check, all the cylinder head nuts have been changed over on mine and I dont use as much as what they say is acceptable so, but my front carb is a little oily but bugger all really :ne_nau:

Thanks for links/replys,i get enough oil that it will drain through the airfilter down into the bottom of the airbox below the carbs and out into the drain hose, seems a bit excessive /add a bit of top up oil from time to time.It takes about 5000kms before oil starts to be visable out the bottom of drain hose.

I dont get anything like that, at least not the last time I looked.
Not enough to wet the filter, only just enough to wet the front carby inlet.
Ill check it on the weekend I think :eh:

What about you Muddy, similar to me, more, less?

its a good idea to do a VIN check to see what "issues" and TSB's
your bikes had, also dealer service history.

I did one on mine just before I bought it

I notice the back pressure relief valve is still shown as open

Excellent, I didnt know that existed.
Ive just put in all my details.
How long does it take for them to get back to you?

I noticed it say "Information will only be provided to the owner currently registered in the KTM owner database. "

How do you get on the database?
