I was going to start a new thread but I noticed this, we've been tossing up on whether to go with this pairing the comms with our hand helds so we can talk to the car on long trips, the wife tows the accommodation on long trips with the 4B.

We have the Cardo Packtalk Duo with the DMC Mesh Tech setup and this works really well and it's now compatible with SENA apparently so we can pair with SENA devices if meet someone has them.

Anyway 5 yrs down the track are there any issues we should know or have things actually improved with this setup given how things have changed with Tech.
Cheers Baz.

Been using the Sena SR10 and S20 (upgraded from the SMH10) and as long as you have a quality radio its been faultless.
By quality radio I mean the mainstream big brands, Icom, GME and Uniden.
You need a quality radio otherwise voice quality for the receiver is a big problem when combined with wind noise etc.

I have friends with the same setup, using cheap shit radios and you cannot understand them but no one has an issue hearing me using an Icom.
My friend has a quality Uniden, same, all good, when can talk and hear each other well, the others not so much!

We have good radios, been using them on the bikes for a while before we went to the Cardo stuff so that's all good.

Just need the gear to pair them together, if we had SENA it wouldn't be an issue.

Is the Scala not compatible with the SR10 or multiple devices?

I did see an article in Webbike that it was, but, it could be an expensive trial if it didn't work, I need to find someone with the SENA SR10 to see if it does work before I fork out $300 + on the off chance it might.

OK apparently the SR10 will work with the Packtalk Bold and from what this guy said it works well, Cardo don't have a similar device, seems strange considering they invented bike comms and this new DMC Mesh tech, oh well their loss.

Prestige in WA seem to be the cheapest and have all of what we need and free postage, bonus
