Zumo 590/5 Track Width Issue, How to Fix

Maybe others knew this but:

The track width seems to be controlled by the Map theme being used.

I found an online editor for the themes here: http://www.javawa.nl/zumocolors.html

Point it to your favorite theme and modify the setting for Item 46 (TRK). I made it 5. Make sure you change the details so you don't over write the original theme.

Here is the original UK Theme (TRK border set to 1):



And here it is with the track border set to 5.

Works great, I use 9 and thats about the same as routes.
I would strongly suggest you dont do this in the Zumo live.
Copy the profile file from your Zumo, edit, change the name and copy back to the appropriate folder into the zumo when done.
Then select it and your done.

I use tracks and routes at the same time (different colours) which is fantastic so if you have to detour the route, you can easily reconnect to your original track. Very useful function for detouring or backtracking.

Wasn't real sure at first but when I worked it out it is fairly easy. Thanks 1CB for your version - keen to try out what i did and yours

With anyone trying, the "590 Garmin HV" setting doesn't have the option to update, I copied, modified and re-named the "UK" theme. 1CB has a version that will save some angst

The new theme should make it easier to navigate by "tracks"
