I've had a Spot tracker messenger for awhile now and was wondering what others have pre programmed on their devices. It is always good to get more ideas, it has 4 options but only 3 are pre programmable as the last is for SOS only.
Mine are as follows:
OK: All good and will call you when I get reception
Custom: I'm ok, I'm not in any immediate danger but do need a lift when you can get to me
Help: Someone is hurt, unable to keep going. Please come ASAP (no need to call ambulance) not life threatening!
SOS
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Re: SPOT GPS Messenger
What you have already sounds good. This is what I use.
OK : I've finished riding for the day
Custom : I need assistance, not life threatening, my mobile no' is 04xx xxx xxx
Help : I need assistance ASAP, my mobile no' is 04xx xxx xxx
SOS : If its life threatening
And I also have the messages sent as texts and email to my wife and usually just one mate who would be watching my travels and knows my itinerary. Otherwise if you have a lot of people in the message list there can be confusion rather than just one person coordinating the search or emergency etc....
Although a lot of places don't have mobile service I include it anyway.... Cannot hurt.

Re: SPOT GPS Messenger
I have nothing programmed into mine. I do also carry a Sat phone though. Hopefully I will be capable of speaking when I need help.
I haven't thought this through very well have I ?

Mines more or less the same as Daves.
Which reminds me, I better change my custom setting from "Please call BMW Road Service"

Re: SPOT GPS Messenger
My messages are much the same. Only the OK message goes to my wife (and my mobile as confirmation) but the Help and Custom ones go to my oldest son. No point in alarming the dear lady unnecessarily.
