I have GPSMAP 62s with garmin topo maps:

Good parts:
- shock resistant
- water resistant IPX7
- doesn't use sirfstar3 receiver (like most of gps and mobile phones). Is a mapping gps, very sensitive. Works better than zumo550 in city.
- use topo maps, you have trails ....
- use profiles and every profile is fully configurable (screens, info on each screen)
- 3 axis hardware compass

Bad parts:
- no bluetooth
- no touch screen
- use batteries (2AA). Hard to adapt external power.

Mapping is Okay, the PC application is average, but does the job.

Because this is a mapping gps, the precision is great.
