Just won one on evil bay. Taking a bit of a risk as coming from China but thats how ya get em cheap by the looks of it.

$110 delivered, worth a gamble I reckon, if I dont like it it will be an alarm clock or something :ne_nau:

Bit of a scam I reckon as they dont tell ya about the GST till its time to pay but being an auction they dont have to I think.

Quick update, looks like the phone will be here tomorrow. Ill charge it up and put some apps on it over wifi and let ya know how it performs.

Weve got a ride planned this w/end, camping out Sat night. There is no phone coverage there so will be able to get an idea on the GPS performance.

Im getting a bit excited.

Is that sad?

Well the phone arrived today, bit of a let down. I should have read the fine print, it hasnt got a compass. :ne_nau:

WTF, it has a GPS but no compass so the maps dont turn as you do, like keep pointing north. The rest is OK.

I tried to download a compass from the App store and it says that my device isnt compatible. So it hasnt got the internal magnetometer thingy.

More research needed.
