I have nearly 25k on my OEM chain on the 990 now and expect 30k or close before changing out.
It wount be completely shagged by then but be a good time to change.

Current sprocket wear at 25k klm's
Front sprocket is the same.

Ill probably get another 10k maybe more :thumb:

I just (3000 klm ok ago) replace my chain and sprockets at 28600, I lube with Lonaotec every wash or 1000k which ever comes first :crazy:
I might ride like crap, but I'm having fun, I think

26,000 klm on the 990 and here they are.
New compared to old.

Should have let it go for another 5k :wink:

If it's a heavy duty chain you're best off removing it from the bike and washing it in a degreaser before scrubbing with a brush. It's a simple process but there are lots of how to remove chain tutorials up on youtube if you have any trouble.
