Transalp

Postby Pradozer » Mon Apr 24, 2017 5:13 pm

I'm considering a SH 2008 Honda transalp. I would gratefully appreciate information regarding known problems or issues.

Looking at a low mileage unit but the plastics have weathered badly. I was also suprised that this bike was made in the Montesa factory in Spain.

Regards

Personally I dont know a lot about them but have known a couple people with them and they reckon they are one of the best all round dirt touring bikes ever and reliable as a hammer.
They certainly seem to have a following and Ive seen some really nice modded ones too.
Really boils down to what youre going to do with it I guess.

Good luck with your decision :thumb:

That Transalp was the main reason why I bought one.
