Knee Braces

Post by darren » Mon May 01, 2017 9:02 pm

Back around 2000 after an knee service i got myself a pair of CTI 10 knee braces from Gall Brothers Medical and i have worn them just about every time i have ridden a bike or snowboarded since. Last year they started falling apart with the hinge plastic deteriorating an as there are no longer parts available i shonkied them up for a year but time has caught up with them. So back to Galls and its a new set of CTI OTS braces.

Two rides in and they are a little heavier and bulkier and they dont 'feel' like they are holding my knee as much but the rest of them are a big improvement. I still have to get used to them as i dont handle change well but i can see no reason why they they wont be around in 17 more years.
I cant speak highly enough of Gall Brothers Medical either
thanks

Ive never used them but have been thinking about it lately since my last break.

Maybe my slower pace doesnt warrant them as much? :ne_nau:

Thanks for the post, I need to think about it :thumb:

There was a little manufacturing issue with one of the straps and i got on to Galls and without hesitation Shawn sent me a replacement and a spare. These are really good people to deal with.
