Marshman,
Im not sure you will get alot of replies as there arent too many here that own a KLR besides myself, and im not much help because mine is stock except the pannier racks and the scratch from dropping it

As far as the staintune is concerned, i would think (and have read somewhere) that after fitting it and a tune up the fuel consumption will stay around the same or better.

Couple of questions for you,
Have you de-restricted the carby?
What other mods have you done?

From what I have heard it will stay about the same. A few blokes I ride with on some of the KLR.net forum have them and havent complained about excessive fuel usage. It all comes down to the right wrist I suppose, and the Staintune will give it more of a bark.
KLR devotee.

In regards to your questions ADV ED
I have had the carby done and it has made a massive improvement .
I have also fitted renthaw bars with bark busters, swmotech crash bars and evo qicklock pannier racks.
I am planing on getting a center stand, bash plate soon .

Thanks Marshman,
I gotta do something about the restrictor but must be careful, still on "P"s.
