Re: KLR 650 journey
Hmmmm, 400 watts would not be physically possible, in size of those lights or in output.
You would melt your wiring, blow your fuses and set the bike on fire.
Your bike probably only make 250 watts.

I dont want to be a dick but the way they advertise is criminal and it shits me no end.
Legit sellers dont get a look in when the advertise the same thing correctly at 4000 lumens and 40 watts because of these grubs.
The average punter gets ripped off so bad and so do genuine sellers who dont over inflate their specs to get your business.
Yeah, unfortunately its the typical Chinese grossly overrated marketing.
Theyve added an extra zero to the specs for lumens and wattage.
Its dodgy, its illegal, its deceitful, but nobody cares.
Cant argue with Ohms law.
400 watts at 14 volts = 28.8 amps.
The KLR generates at best 14 -15 amps total at best, 8 of which probably runs the bike, 12 with headlights on.
You would need wiring to the lights like battery leads to run 400 watts of anything continuously.
Your stock wiring would blow, melt or catch fire if you tried to pull such current.
You can easily test it with a multimeter in series and see what they draw.
Im guessing about 3-3.5 amps, 36-40 watts.

Re: KLR 650 journey
Cool....
Ok, that will be 2.92 Amps x 14.2 volts = 41.46 watts
Was that each or total?
