Re: Bike choice.

I went from 1190R back to 990. Although the height isnt much lower its considerably narrower which makes it much easier to manage and "feels" much lighter. Really depends on whether you want to stick with a multi or maybe go back to singles. I couldnt go to a single. I the recent past I we...

Re: Aurora Rally 990 Build

Just waiting on a couple fittings but pretty much right to go. Ive been wanting to get a custom form fitting tank made for ages but no one with the skills has the time to make what I want. This will do very nicely in the interim. https://photos.smugmug.com/photos/i-3k9mQCm/0/f1bb04a8/XL/i-3k9mQCm-XL...

After much thought I went and did it anyway... Dobinson Monotube (without remote reservoir). Very nice bit of...

Re: Project Everest

All the "experts" recommend a catch can to remove excess oil fumes being regurgitated into the inlet manifold which mixes with EGR gases and soot and clogs everything up over time. This was only available with the extra large bracket to also suit the secondary filter. It just makes it a pa...

Re: Project Everest

The thing that got me about the everest is what an awesome drive it is! Smooth, quiet, comfy, every mod con you could want, very impressed and quite luxurious. Being my first diesel, its going to take some getting used to but so far Im very impressed. I was thinking about another Prado after so many...
